Whose House?

Formaldehyde

Formaldehyde (1992, Total Vegas. EMI Release 1993)

The lads' first LP under the monicker Terrorvision (The band had previously been known as 'Spoilt Bratz', and had released several records under that name), and a real blinder.

From the Metallica-esque opener 'Problem Solved', to fan favourite 'American TV', to the parent-mocking 'My House', these are classics one and all.

The distinctive style of the guitars on Formaldehyde set it apart from the rest of the bunch and shaped the sound of Terrorvision for the early nineties. Although, on this record, singer Tony Wright's voice does not seem quite up to the standard of the subsequent albums.
